Sonia Rykiel debuted yesterday globally. unfortunately the mayhem chaos of the Jimmy Choo launch did not repeat itself. At 14.00 there were more than half of the stock in the Ermou shop.
People around were commenting on her weird colours -however for those who know colours that Rykiel has been religiously using for decades- and amongst everything and everyone i re-discovered one of my -and hers apparently- favourite colours which is canary yellow..
deep orange-y almost yellow, that is equally striking on dark or light skin (however i'd say it looks more chic on pale skin either tanned or light rather than very dark skin) and is wonderful with white, black, tan, beige colours and tabba leather accesories.
i will be wearing this skirt (above) all the time this summer from day to evening.
hope you managed to grab one or two of her designs for H&M..her frilly baby pink dress was also very well made for H&M standards that is. Her kids line for girls was also divine.
