swimming suits

Yes this dreaded word. Well all of us wear them. I have only two or three tips.

1.Be confident.ITS YOU, you are young, healthy, ALIVE..so you are lucky and gorgeous.
2.Tanning is not so "fashionable" anymore. But a light healthy glow is necessary for all.
3.Always accessorize. Plastic Bangles and earrings etc. and nice flip flops and a beach bag that match your outfit.

So i ve picked up a few really cool swimwear that could suit several types of women.

Contrary to those that say that women with a bit of a tummy should wear one-piece swimming suits, i say NO WAY. You need to have a beautiful body to pull of a one-piece and it seems to look even better when the girl is very tall.

So embrace your curves, or your skinniness and go for the sexy bikini.

If you have dark to very dark skin and dark hair
You look amazing in white, bright neons that are sooo this season as well as block colouring with turquoise, fuschia, yellow etc. NO brown, avoid dark black and blue. Personally i wouldn't go for floral or mixed prints because on dark skin they dont look very chic. Try this 80s inspired amazing Mara Hoffman item.

If you have dark to very dark skin and light or reddish hair
Same colours as above apply. Go towards emerald greens, canari yellows, reds.
try this from Missoni

If you have very light skin with dark hair
white and black look GREAT.don't do orange, gold, beige and pastels
This Etoile Isabelle Marant is gorgeous and into the trend of star prints for SS11

If you have light skin and light hair
try sorbet fruit colors, cinnamon, silver and babyblue shades
don't do black and orange. I am loving this Zimmerman fifties bikini.

If you have light skin and red hair
try apple green, khaki and earthy hues, orange and cinnamon. deep reds.
dont do dark colours (navy blue and black). Try this from Matthew Williamson
