My Grandmother was a simple yet extremely elegant and stylish woman. Not very daring, classic but she had a few rules she passed on that i think are very useful. I will start writing the rules randomly as i remember them and they are not organised and posted with an order of priority.
Rule Number 1.
Underwear are the most important thing for a woman to be a woman. YOU know what you are wearing underneath your clothes. And that is a thought that makes you walk differently :)
Yes i do realize that lace underwear can be discomforting and fussy at times but they are the best to give you the boost that no dress/bag or shoes will ever manage to.
One must try to set bras with knickers even if they do decide on cotton. If they are not the exact same set, play with colour combinations e.g. a blue bra with yellow knickers etc. Colour-combine.
A great soft, cotton simple line for underwear is Hanro of Switzerland. Great fit, great quality, so innocent and simple that they could be sexy...
And then we must go to the emperors of underwear.
La Perla, Agent Provocateur, Myla, Damaris and Eres.
No woman can resist them, no man can either...they have sex and elegance written all over them. Get 2 sets of black and 2 sets of another colour. White is not good for me so i go for taupe or beige and dark blue and green are also very sexy elegant options. Something in red as well is imperishable.
Great fit, very good quality fabrics they do last a lifetime and are worth the investment. The sales are a great way to get your hands on them for a better price.
Look what i grabbed from net-a-porter.com agentprovocateur.com and outnet.com in their current sales.
The first is a lovely set of Myla girlie peekaboo bra. The second one is a classic design from AP called Nikita with a great fit that i replaced since my previous one started falling apart and the third one a fiery red body from Damaris.
Oh and dont forget should you be in the position of removing them..let him do it. It's more fun. And always have this playing...
