Since me and my love are not always in the same city..my Xmas heaven is the simplest of all. Just to sit at home with him, watch all art house movies we haven't seen at all or haven't seen together, to cook and to read our books side by side.
This Xmas i decided to re-start "Seven Days in the Art World" by Sarah Thornton that i tried to start over last summer but for some reason forgot all about it.
And i want to read a bit of Bataille as well, his book on Surrealism and also re-read Nigella Lawson's how to be a domestic Goddess to get inspired for cooking.
It is the first time that i dont really feel like shopping. I dont need many things. Just a an evening black clutch and i think it will be black possibly patent and possibly from YSL or Miu Miu because they are the less expensive ones from the big brands, they are classic and very elegant.
And speaking of YSL i am after their iconic oval ring for some time now. For 175 euros it is a bargain me thinks..Not sure whether it is going to be coral or plain black..either will look lovely i think.
